I Wish

I wish everyone could walk around every day knowing that they are loved. How would the world be different if everyone knew and believed and felt that they were loved? On a daily basis?

I wish I had known, believed and felt I was loved on a daily basis, but I did not. I lived in the dark. It was a terrible place to be and by hanging on to a glimmer of truth, I began to slowly edge my way out.

I think about the world, the state we are in, emotionally, spiritually, financially, and it is stressful.

So many in pain, frustration, anger, at the edge of existence. What are we doing?

What are we doing to help?

What are we doing to not help?

Every day is an opportunity.

It’s not a given.

It’s a gift.

So what can we do with the gift of each new day?

If we treated every morning as a celebration of new breath, perspective, and opportunity, how would our days be different? Our relationships?

Our jobs?

Our families?

Our society?

Our country?

Our world?

What can we do with the time that we have?

With the gifts we have?

What are we ignoring within ourselves that can no longer be ignored?

Tap into it, address it, and move it into the direction it needs to go. We all have our own inner work to do. And if we do not take the time to address it, we are not moving forward and we will all keep experiencing, inflicting and receiving the same pain.

It’s time to break the pain cycle.

Heal.

And grow.

Grow.

Grow.

Grow.

Grow from a place of love.

Not pain.

Grow from a place of healing.

Not hurting.

You do your inner work.

I’ll do mine.

And together we can uproot and remove the pain that runs so deep and keeps us from moving forward in unity.
